Griselda Flores is <em>Billboard</em>’s Latin senior writer. From identifying cultural and musical trends that can lead to in-depth pieces for print and online to interviewing key players (artists and executives) to fully understand the business of music and the money driving it behind the scenes, Griselda is fully immersed in all things Latin music. Previously an assignment editor for Univision Chicago, where she won an Emmy Award for news specialty report/series (Marlen Ochoa’s case), Griselda was born and raised in Chicago and is the proud daughter of Mexican immigrants. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Columbia College Chicago and a master’s degree from Northwestern’s Medill School of Journalism.
